Three PC builds worth buying
One build per resolution, priced in rupees, using the parts the building community keeps coming back to. Expand any row to see what the component actually does — no jargon, no upsell.
Entry 1080p
1080p · 60+ fps · high settings
The cheapest machine that still plays current titles properly, rather than one that technically boots them.
Approx total₹72,600excludes alternatives
Why this build. The recurring advice at this budget is to skip the discrete GPU trap — an underpowered card costs more than the integrated graphics it barely beats. Buy a real card or wait.
Sweet spot 1440p
1440p · 100+ fps · high settings
The build most people should actually buy. 1440p is the resolution where a mid-range GPU stops being the bottleneck.
Approx total₹1,56,100excludes alternatives
Why this build. The most repeated recommendation on the sub: put the money in the GPU, pair it with a mid-range CPU, and do not buy 8GB of VRAM at this resolution.
High-end 4K
4K · 100+ fps · ultra settings
No compromises at 4K, without paying the halo-product tax on the very top card.
Approx total₹2,47,700excludes alternatives
Why this build. At this tier the sub's advice inverts: the CPU stops mattering much because 4K is GPU-bound, so the X3D chip and the biggest sensible GPU is the standard answer.
About these prices. Figures are indicative street prices as of August 2026, shown to help you compare tiers — not live quotes. Tap any retailer for its current price, which is the one that counts. Retailer links are affiliate links: if you buy through one, Vendeye may earn a commission at no extra cost to you, and it never changes which part we recommend.
Part picks are an editorial summary of long-running community consensus on subreddits such as r/buildapc and r/IndianGaming. They are not scraped from, quoted from, or endorsed by any thread, moderator or person.
