Welcome to Vendeye.com. By using our platform, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
Use of Our Platform
- Vendeye is a marketplace where people buy and sell gift cards, vouchers, coupon codes and referral codes, and where Vendeye sells its own stock. It also tracks prices and lists deals and services.
- You may sell codes you own that are unused and valid. You may not list a code you have already used, sold or shared elsewhere.
- Misuse of the platform — fraud, fake listings, taking a deal off the platform to avoid escrow, or scraping it by machine — is prohibited and may close your account.
Trades, Escrow and Fees
- Every purchase is paid into escrow. It is released when the buyer confirms the code works, or automatically 24 hours after purchase if no problem has been reported; the seller's share (after the fee) reaches their Vendeye wallet 24 hours after that, unless the buyer reports a problem before then. A withdrawal reaches the seller's bank account within 24–48 hours of the request.
- Sellers pay a 5% commission on each sale, GST included — 1% on gold sold person to person; on a service at the seller's charge, 5% of the charge. A sale a member's share link brought also pays that member 5% of the price, unless the seller turns sharing off. Buyers pay the listed price, with no buyer fee. Optional extras are priced where you buy them: putting a bid first in the queue (₹49), featuring a referral code (₹49 for 7 days). - Problems with a code are decided on evidence under our dispute process; refunds follow our cancellation and refund policy and are credited to your Vendeye wallet.
- If you reverse a card payment with your bank instead of reporting a problem to us, the trade and the seller's payment are frozen until the bank decides (see Chargebacks, below). Repeated chargebacks may close your account.
Chargebacks
- You agree to raise any problem with an order through our dispute process — report it from the order, or write to us — before disputing the payment with your bank. If you dispute it with your bank instead (a chargeback), we answer it with the order's records and email you about the case. You can withdraw the dispute with your bank at any time.
- While the dispute is open, any credit from that order is paused. If the bank decides it in our favour, the credit is yours again.
- A chargeback raised instead of our dispute process breaks this agreement. If the bank decides it against us, the order's credit is cancelled and a platform fee of ₹500 per disputed payment is due — plus the price of anything you received and kept, such as a delivered code or a completed order. Until it is paid, your account can't buy, sell or withdraw. Pay it at vendeye.com/pay-fee — from your Vendeye wallet first, and by UPI for the rest. Your account works again as soon as it's paid.
Cashback and Coupons
- Coupon and gift-card use is subject to the terms of the brand that issued them. We are not responsible for changes a brand makes.
- Store cashback is credited once the store approves the sale, and taken back if the store later reverses it.
Brands and Trademarks
Gift cards, vouchers, memberships and codes traded on Vendeye are issued by their brands, on the brands' own terms. Vendeye.com is an independent marketplace: it is not the issuer, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by any brand whose cards are listed. Brand names and logos are trademarks of their owners, shown only to identify what is on sale. The goods and services a card or code pays for are provided by the brand, and Vendeye is not responsible for them.
Referral Program
Vendeye.com may offer a referral program that allows users to earn rewards for referring new users to our platform. By participating in the referral program, you agree to the following terms:
- Rewards are earned only when the referred user signs up using your unique referral link and meets the eligibility criteria specified in the referral program.
- Rewards may be in the form of cashback, credits, or other benefits, as determined by Vendeye.com.
- Vendeye.com reserves the right to modify or terminate the referral program at any time without prior notice.
- Rewards are non-transferable, non-refundable, and may not be redeemed for cash unless explicitly stated.
- Any fraudulent or abusive activity related to the referral program may result in the forfeiture of rewards and termination of your account.
No Warranties
The services provided by Vendeye.com are offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the services. We are not responsible for any errors, interruptions, or inaccuracies in the services provided.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Vendeye.com is not liable for any damages arising from the use of our platform or from the goods and services a brand provides, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits. Where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid on Vendeye for the item concerned. You agree that your use of the platform is at your sole risk.
Interactions Between Users
You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users of the platform. Vendeye.com is not liable for any disputes or issues arising from such interactions. We reserve the right to monitor or restrict user interactions if deemed necessary.
Third-Party Services
Our platform may include links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, terms, or policies of these third-party services. Use of such services is at your own risk and subject to the terms and conditions of the respective third parties.
User Content
- You are responsible for any content you submit, upload, or share on our platform.
- You agree not to upload or share any content that infringes on the rights of others or violates any laws.
- We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or is deemed inappropriate.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Vendeye.com harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of the platform, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we suspect fraudulent activity, misuse of the platform, or violation of these terms. Upon termination, you will lose access to the platform and any associated benefits.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes between a buyer and a seller over a trade are first decided under our dispute process; anything else is subject to the courts where Vendeye is registered.
