Cancellation and Refund Policy
Every purchase on Vendeye.com is paid into escrow: your money is held by Vendeye, not sent to the seller, until you have what you paid for. If you don't, you are refunded.
Returns
Cards, codes, memberships and bookings can't be returned or exchanged once they're yours — a code can't be taken back once it has been shown to you. If something doesn't work or doesn't arrive, you are refunded as below; when it arrives is in the delivery policy.
When you are refunded
- The code doesn't work. Report the problem from My Trades before the seller is paid: up to 24 hours after you tap “It works”, or 48 hours after buying if you don't. The money stays in escrow while the dispute is decided on evidence — the brand's own confirmation email and whether the code was listed before — and if it's decided for you, the full amount is refunded to your Vendeye wallet — spend it on anything on Vendeye at no cost, within a year; withdrawn to your bank, 5% of what you paid by card or UPI is kept. Every dispute is decided by a Vendeye arbiter, usually within 48 hours. How disputes work.
- We can't deliver the code. Some codes are bought in when you order. If one can't be delivered within 24 hours, the full amount is refunded to your Vendeye wallet at once. Spend it on anything on Vendeye at no cost, within a year; if you withdraw it to your bank, 5% of what you paid by card or UPI is kept, and it can be withdrawn once your payment has reached us.
- A non-instant order isn't completed. Where a seller redeems a benefit on your own account (for example cult.fit) or books one for you (for example a golf round), a seller gets 24 hours from when your details are in; if they can't, other sellers and Vendeye get up to 48 hours more. If it isn't completed within those 72 hours, the full amount is refunded to your Vendeye wallet — spend it on anything on Vendeye at no cost, within a year; withdrawn to your bank, 5% of what you paid by card or UPI is kept. This applies when the order stalls on our side — not when it's waiting on your login (see below).
- You cancel a bid. A paid bid can be cancelled from My Trades any time before a seller fills it, and the full amount goes back to your Vendeye wallet. Spend it on anything on Vendeye, at no cost, within a year; if you withdraw it to your bank instead, 5% of it is kept as a cancellation fee, and it can be withdrawn once your payment has reached us — 2 working days after you paid; Sundays, the 2nd and 4th Saturdays and bank holidays don't count. To change what you offer, change the bid's price instead — that's free: a lower price returns the difference to your wallet, and a higher one asks only for the difference.
Non-instant orders: your login, and what happens without it
A non-instant order is completed on your account, so it needs your login for the brand's portal — for cult.fit ELITE, the RuPay Select site (rupayselect.truztee.com), not the cult.fit app — or, for a booking, who, where and when. Add it on your order within 3 days of paying. It's kept encrypted and shown only to the seller doing your order. If you'd rather not share your usual password, set a temporary one on the portal and change it back once your order is redeemed.
- If your login doesn't come within those 3 days, the order is cancelled. We remind you by email during those days.
- If a seller can't sign in with the login you gave (the password is missing or doesn't work), or you tell us or the seller you no longer want it (for example, you bought it elsewhere), the order is put on hold for 3 days. We email you when it's put on hold, again on its last day, and when it's cancelled. Add a working login on your order within those 3 days and a seller completes it; otherwise the order is cancelled.
- An order cancelled for either reason is not refunded. The seller and Vendeye were ready to complete it; it stopped because the login never came. Instead, the full amount you paid becomes credit for that same card and value: buy it again from any seller within 1 year and the credit is taken off at checkout — you pay any difference if it costs more at the time. The credit can't be refunded to your card or bank, withdrawn, transferred, or used on anything else, and it expires 1 year after the order was cancelled. Your Wallet shows the credit and the date it expires.
Confirming a non-instant order, and reporting a problem
- When the seller has done your order, they upload proof. Check your account and tap “It works”, or report a problem, within 24 hours; if we don't hear from you, the order counts as confirmed and the seller is paid.
- Codes that come later by email (for example cult.fit ELITE, whose code the brand emails up to 2 days after it's redeemed on your portal): you'll have the portal's confirmation email at once. We ask you to confirm 48 hours after the seller's proof, when the code is due. You can report a problem only from then — if the code still hasn't come — and if we don't hear from you within 72 hours of the proof, the order counts as confirmed and the seller is paid.
- Taking a dispute back. If a problem you reported is sorted — for example the code arrives — take the dispute back from its case page, with a screenshot of the email your code came in (required, and seen only by Vendeye) and a rating of the seller. The order then counts as confirmed and the seller is paid.
How you are refunded
Refunds are credited to your Vendeye wallet, instantly. From your Wallet you can spend it at checkout — on the exchange it can pay for all of a code or part of it, with card or UPI covering the rest; in the coupon shop it pays when it covers the whole price — or withdraw it to your bank account (minimum ₹250). Money back — from a bid you cancelled, a dispute refund, a code we couldn't deliver or an order no seller completed — buys anything on Vendeye for a year after it reaches your wallet, then expires; it is spent first when you buy; it can be withdrawn once your payment has reached us, and 5% of what's left of it is kept if you withdraw it. Credit for a card, from a cancelled non-instant order, is kept apart from your balance: it can't be withdrawn and only buys that card.
Cancelling
- Nothing is charged until you pay. A code reserved at checkout goes back on sale if it isn't paid for within 15 minutes, and any wallet amount you put towards it is returned.
- Once the seller is paid — 24 hours after you tap “It works”, or 48 hours after buying if you don't, with no problem reported — the sale is final: a digital code can't be returned once it can be used.
Cashback and card disputes
- Cashback for a store purchase is credited when the store approves the sale. If the store later reverses it — for example you returned the order — the cashback is taken back from your wallet.
- Please report a problem to us before disputing a card payment with your bank. A chargeback freezes the trade, and the seller's payment, until your bank decides.
